We’re open until Wednesday the 21st, but the last day for ordering with guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery, is Friday 16th.

If you order on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (21st) it still may get to you in time, but we can’t guarantee it.

If you want to order for collection up until Wednesday afternoon, feel free to do so, just give us a call first to let us know roughly when you’re coming so we can have your order ready.

For quite some time we’ve been testing samples of blank iphone cases, it’s taken us a while to decide on which ones to use. The issue with some is that they require the purchasing of other equipment, jigs & so on, and we wanted a great iphone case which could be printed simply, without any additional equipment, and which we could easily print multiples.

We’re very happy with the choice we made, they’re a nice quality case (for the iphone 4 and 4s) with a ribbed grip on each side. They’re very easy to print, and the blank price we have managed to achieve makes for very good profit margins for our clients.

Dye Sub Printing With Ricoh GXe3300N

The video below just gives you an idea of how fast the Ricoh printer spits out dye sublimation prints, at high quality settings.

Those of us who have been printing using Epson D88, Epson 1290, Epson R1800 and so on, will appreciate just how quick the Ricoh GXe3300N prints.

We have a number of large format Epson printers, and we recently started to use the Ricoh A4 printer for dye sublimation printing for smaller items, including mugs, mouse mats, coasters, and the smaller jigsaw puzzles.

As well as the speed – the quality of the prints are very good, very vivid colours. The ink costs are higher for the dye sublimation ink cartridges, but there is a lot less ink wastage with the Ricoh printers, so it’s probably not hugely different all things considered. On average we’ve worked out that an A4 print cost between £0.50 – £1.10, depending on coverage etc. These are rough estimations though, it’s impossible to work out an exact costing. Printing on the small format Epsons is cheaper per print, but as we all know – general running of the Epson printers can waste quite a bit of ink, every time you have to do a head clean some of that lovely dye sub ink is wasted. The small format Ricoh printers are less wasteful, and so far we’ve never had to perform a head clean on our Ricoh printer, which is refreshing!

Printing a Dye Sub Tea Towel

We thought we would make a quick video of printing one of our dye sublimation tea towels. Tea towels are fast becoming one of our best selling products for our retail photo gift websites, we sell them for £11.49 retail, and we have had nothing but praise from our retail customers since we started to have our own blank tea towels manufactured here in the UK.

Here we are printing full edge to edge, using an Epson 9600, and a Transmatic heat press , you don’t have to print full edge to edge, on the tea towel video we posted a couple of days ago, you’ll see that they look great with a border too, but we just wanted to show off the fact that they can be printed right over the seam.

New Lower Pricing on Quality UK Made Blank Tea Towels

Our blank dye sub tea towels are very high quality, your customers will be very happy with them, with the quality feel of the towel, the vibrancy of the print, and the fact that they do actually have the ability to dry pots.
Polyester is obviously not as good at drying as cotton, so dye sublimation tea towels are never going to be as good for drying pots as 100% cotton tea towels, however we spent quite some time sourcing material which gave great printing results, while also having at least some drying ability.

The previous blank tea towels we had encountered, were much larger than standard tea towels, and had virtually no ability to dry – and subsequent towels we had tried, were more like a chamois than a towel, and we weren’t happy with the item as a tea towel, not were we that happy with the overall look of he product including the vibrancy of the print.

We have a belief when it comes to our retail business, that if we would not be happy with the product for ourselves or as a gift for friends or family, then we won’t sell it – so after exhausting all channels of sourcing a blank towel which we were happy with, we realised that we would have to have our own manufactured. After spending yet more time and effort looking for the fabric and for all the available options in terms of having the products made up, we settled with a quality UK fabric supplier, and a very experienced UK manufacturing company to produce the tea towels.

The result, is very high quality blank dye sublimation tea towels, that our customers love.

They’re fantastic quality on all fronts, including make up quality, fabric quality, print quality & the ability to dry pots.

The only issue when it comes to the wholesale supply of this dye sublimation blank product, is they are not cheap – and we know that many people are used to paying much less for blank tea towels. Therefore, we have significantly increased the amount that we are having manufactured, meaning we’re getting a lower price for the fabric & a keener price for the manufacture, enabling us to drop the price for our blanks customers.

New prices: £2.98, dropping to £2.88 for 10 or more, £2.79 for 25 or more, and £2.69 for 50 or more.

From now onwards, orders are shipped via DPD, and are charged at

Bag rate: £4.95 for up to 5 kilo’s.

Parcel rate: £6.95 up to 15 Kilos, 28p per kilo thereafter.

This means for mugs, delivery costs £6.95 for the first case, and then £4.20 per case.

These prices are for mainland UK only. Please contact us for delivery quotes outside of mainland UK. Set shipping rates for Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland coming soon (we are doing our best to achieve better prices for outside mainland UK.)

You will receive an email (and a text message if you give us your mobile phone number when you order) from DPD to let you know the delivery slot that you have been assigned the next day, if this time is not suitable, simply click on the link & select the delivery slot which suits. If there are any issues (for instance things change & you will not be there within the agreed delivery window), just call the number on the email & quote the reference.

Please Note: Cut off for next day delivery is 2pm. After this time we do try to ship for next day delivery, but we cannot guarantee it – as our collection can be any time from 3pm onwards.
