Best Paper for Mugs and other ceramics
Trupix Classic Sublimation Paper from Sawgrass. A4 x 100 Sheets.
In our opinion, Trupix Classic is the best dye sub paper for producing mugs and other cermic blanks with the sublimation process.
Trupix is a fast dry sublimation paper, and is almost completely dry to the touch by the time it prints, as opposed to higher release papers which tend to be wet initially and can take some time to dry. This means that there is no smudging on ceramic surfaces, and that you don’t need to wait for the paper to dry. In addition to this, trupix paper releases just the right amount of dye for the available surface area on coated ceramic surfaces.
As a result, we have never found another paper to rival texprint when it comes to mugs, and other coated sublimation products.
We are also big fans of Trupix XP HR and Trupix Ricoh paper, especially for fabric blanks and textile printing, but personally we believe that Trupix is the right paper for mugs.
